CES, or the Consumer Electronics Show, is one of the biggest and best tech events in the world—and for Electric Outdoors, it was the perfect way to kick off 2025. This year, the event drew more than 140,000 attendees, 4,500 exhibitors, and 6,000 journalists and other members of the media from around the globe.

Our team traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada, to promote the EO Canopy alongside some other exciting Michigan startups. We had the great honor of being a part of the inaugural Michigan Mobility Pavilion, a showcase of innovators in the mobility and cleantech space. It was hosted by the Centrepolis Accelerator and supported by the State of Michigan’s Office of Future Mobility and Electrification.

On the first day of the event, a delegation of Michigan leaders stopped by, including Ben Marchionna, Michigan's Chief Innovation Ecosystem Officer; Justine Johnson, SVP and Chief Mobility Officer at MEDC; Matt McCauley, SVP of Regional Development at MEDC; and Garlin Gilchrist II, Lieutenant Governor of Michigan.

In addition to Electric Outdoors, the pavilion featured Lectric Boil (portable, battery-powered induction stoves), LIVAQ (electric ATVs), Modal Motors (advanced electric motors), Neumo (neurotechnology sensors), Voltaic Marine (electric boats), and Wheel.Me (autonomous wheels).

Each company had product demonstrations, marketing materials, video displays, and team members ready to answer questions—and we found that many people who stopped by the booth were interested in more than one of the solutions displayed. It makes sense that someone looking to learn more about the EO Canopy might also have an interest in Lectric Boil’s camp cooking solutions and LIVAQs off-road adventure vehicles, and it was an excellent opportunity for Michigan’s startup community to come together in a way that benefited companies as well as eventgoers.

As always, we very much enjoyed connecting with so many of you in person. CES is an industry event, and most attendees are passionate and knowledgeable about the future of technology as well as, in many cases, sustainability and e-mobility. This made for some very interesting, and sometimes challenging, conversations. We appreciate everyone who stopped by to chat!

Thank you to CES and the Michigan Mobility Pavilion for having us—we look forward to bringing an EO Canopy to the show next year!
